On this day, the World Meteorological Organization accepted our request to upgrade the station status from regional to global. This is great news! We are grateful for the help and continuous support from all the institutions that collaborate with us and are part of the Chacaltaya GAW station from the very beginning. We are committed to continue providing traceable observations of greenhouse gases (2 variables), reactive gases (3 variables), and atmospheric aerosols (6 variables) following the recommendations of the GAW Program.
